    Course Description

    Our 12-week intensive course, Privacy Engineers in AI Systems Certificate, delves deep into AI system enablement. We teach the foundations necessary for AI governance, and go beyond other courses by practical applications of use cases and exercises. Use cases apply and adapt techniques from industry-related frameworks and standards, and provide instruction on practical tools. Exercises provide you experience applying knowledge to an AI-related initiative of your choice.

    This course equips you as either as a legal professional or a privacy engineer. The hands-on experience during the course will establish you with relevant and valuable AI skills and knowledge. You’ll be able to thoroughly understand how AI capabilities may integrate into existing systems and processes. Our Certificate will stand out with any employer as it is backed up by over 40 years of expertise, professional standards and practical application by our distinguished lecturers.

    Modules

    The course is divided in 12 modules taking the learner from the basics into Privacy Engineering, Privacy Engineering in AI and AI lifecycle, existing frameworks and authoritative resources through to a Capstone project and a certification exam.

    Format

    The sessions are online and the discussions in class are on practical case studies to ensure the learners take the concepts studied and turn them into a practical application which can serve them in their current role or a future desired role in their career.

    How long does the course last?

    The course will last 14 weeks in total: 12 weeks of learning (1 module per week), followed by 2 weeks of study. The course will end with a certification exam.
